LA Zoo

While we were in Cali we took the kids for a day at the zoo. April kept asking to see the giraffes.

Trip to Cali

At the beginning of June we went to California to see my family, just because we could. We had a great time and I love watching my kids form relationships with Grandma and Grandpa, aunts and uncles.

Cars 2

One of the pluses to living in a place like Las Vegas is all the interesting things that come through town that we can take advantage of. As a promo for Cars 2 some of the cars are touring the country and doing "meet and greets". I happened to hear about it on tv, couldn't say "no" to the price (free!) and so Adam and I took the kids for a surprise. They thought it was so fun to see the cars in person.

My amazing friend, Laurel, took these pictures of the kids. We surprised Daddy and gave them to him for Father's Day.

MY CASTLE!

We were driving on the way to the airport when April saw the Excalibur out the window. She says, quite excitedly, "My Castle!!!!"

Children's Museum

On Memorial Day we took the kids to the Lied's Discovery Children's Museum. They have lots of fun, hands-on activities for the kids. We all had a good time!

Around the House

I can't believe this baby is almost 8 months old. But she does LOVE being a baby! She's taken her own sweet time to hit her bench marks and that's all right with me. She's rolling around, and sitting until something distracts her and she tries to get to it, and wanting to crawl so bad. (She can move in circles and even backwards.) Yesterday Adam found her in push-up position- on her hand and tip toes. Such a strong little thing! She is such a happy and baby and loves anyone that will smile at her.

Poor John was so sick. He just wanted to cuddle with his mommy. I'll take the rare opportunities to just cuddle like that. John is excited to go to Kindergarten and is telling us he's too big to fit in preschool anymore.
