A Day on the Strip

On Monday the kids and I spent the day with Aunt Erin, Tegan and Grandma walking The Strip and taking in all the sights there. So much free stuff. It works for me. We had a lot of fun with everyone. For the next few days every time we would get in the car John would ask if we were going to see Grandma or where Erin was.

The first two are at the Bellagio.

April LOVES her cousin Tegan.

Palm Springs

We spent the last week in Palm Springs visiting Aunt Alli, Uncle Bah and Baby Seth. Here's a few of the cute pictures Grandpa took.
Every time I would hold Seth, April had to climb on my lap, too. Can you say jealous?

Stromboli. Like father, like son.

Roller Coaster

For Christmas Aunt Erin sent a roller coaster for the kids. It's a HUGE hit! Not just with John and April, but any other kid that comes through our door.

April was a little unsure at first but once John did it, she had to, also.
Even Hobbes got in on the fun.

Christmas 2009

I LOVE Christmas! The lights, the music, the holiday bustle. Thankfully Adam does too and we have a blast this season. We took the kids to see the lights at the Ethel M Chocolate Factory. It's always so pretty to walk through there (and the free chocolate sample isn't so bad either).

We spent Christmas with my family this year. On the way out of town we stopped at the M resort that had the tallest tree in the country. On Christmas Eve John and April got now pjs. They had to be ready for all the pictures Adam takes on Christmas morning.

Just about time to open presents! You can see there's lots. That's Christmas for 12 of us and my mom always likes to spread it out to look like more.

John loved opening presents. April loved the dolly my mom made for her.

It's About Time

So, it was just a matter of time until I got into this. I think it will a good way to keep a journal. Now I just have to figure out how this thing works...
