Circus

We had a blast at the circus! John and April especially loved the animals- elephants, tigers, miniature horse, etc. It was so much fun to watch them discovering everything for their first time. And they put on a good show!

Before the circus started we could go watch some acts up close on the floor. John, April, and Adam tried on some clown costumes. John wasn't too sure if he liked it at first, but he got used to the idea when Daddy joined in.
See the elephant in the background? We watched her paint a picture.

Havin' fun!April would watch so intently and then love to clap when everyone else started to.

This was a little tent they had for sale. April thought it was SO much fun.I just think this is funny.

Ryan's Wedding

Adam was a groomsmen in a wedding on Saturday night for a friend from work. It was a beautiful setting up at The Lodge on Mount Charleston.

My daddy's girl.
John does not like when I say he's cute. He tells me, "I'm not cute, I'm handsome."
I LOVE the look on the boys faces. Makes the picture for me!

John and April danced liked this for quite a while.

It

We had an ultrasound on June 1st. Unfortunately the baby was completely uncooperative and we are still having an "it". Six weeks and we'll try again. In the meantime, I'm having fun feeling the baby move. I've been telling the kids we have to wait for the baby to get big and strong before it can come live at our house. John has started to say that the baby is big and strong now. Four months of patience is going to be tough for the almost 4 year-old though. At least they're excited. April was even able to recognize that is a picture of a baby.

Lion and Dolphin Habitat

I needed a night out and so last second Adam got a babysitter. We took advantage of Teacher Appreciation Week and went to the Lion and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage for free. It was a beautiful evening for it and surprisingly not that crowded for a weekend on the Strip. This dolphin just hung out right there for a long time posing for everyone's pictures.

The Last Few Weeks

It's hard to believe that my babies are getting so big. I want to trap every moment and store them in my memory. I'm just glad that our memories will be better in the next life. April's favorite song is Popcorn Popping and we have to sing it every bed time- almost always followed by Eensy- Weensy Spider. She loves Super-Why and reading books with anyone that will read to her. John just finished pre-school. He can write his name (even if the J is sometimes backwards) and he sits well in groups now. He is a great big brother to April and such a fun boy for his mommy to play with.

Here are just a bunch of random pictures from the last month.

Four generations.
Major case of bed head.
As they helped, the kids would say, "Roll, roll!"
