Hollywood Studios

Our first full day in the parks we spent at Hollywood Studios. I had read that the best thins to do was go on Toy Story Mania and grab a fastpass for is first thing. Well, evidently the rest of the park had the same idea because EVERYONE went there, too. We ended up in a line and when I went to check it out I realized that it was for the fastpass- not even the ride. We got out of that and went over to Tower of Terror instead (probably not the best first ride for the kids. They hated it.)

Adm on Rocking Roller Coaster. He had to go by himself since the kids were too short and I'm pregnant. Thankfully the kids were tall enough for just about everything. This was the only ride John couldn't go on.
In line for Toy Story Mania. We were able to ride it 3 times. It was April's favorite. Almost every time (if not every time) we got off she would cry because she didn't want to get off.

Cooling down in the hydrant
This was a fun area for the kids to just run in.

Waiting to see Woody and Buzz

In line for Star Tours
Waiting for Fantasmic to start. We had a dinner package that was a buffet and then later that night special seating for Fantasmic so we didn't have to wait in line with everyone else. The kids loved it. April was commenting about it throughout the whole show. "This person is sad or happy." "There's Snow White!" etc. John loved that Mickey got the bad guys.

Disney World Day 1

While we were in Florida Adam and I thought it would be fun to take the kids to Disney World. John, especially, was super excited. He had been looking at Disney World parks maps online and before we left home kept asking, "How many days until Disney World?"

The first day was just for us to get up and explore the resort. We didn't have tickets to the parks that day, but there was still plenty to do.

We stayed at the All-Star Movie Resort. This is what was waiting for us when we went to our room.
Next we went to Downtown Disney and lunch at the Planet Hollywood. Adam and I took turns wandering around and checking out the movie memorabilia while we waited for our food.
This was from "Titanic"
April and her favorite princess, Cinderella. April often tells us she is Cinderella.
Lots of cool things to see at the Lego store.
On a boat ride from Downtown Disney to the Port Orleans
At the Port Orleans
This is back at our hotel waiting for a bus to go to dinner.
We ate that night at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. It was so much fun! It was a character meal, so Mickey and his friends came to visit us at our table as we had dinner. Way better than waiting in lines at the park to meet them! It was also I first big Disney activity and so we were all extra excited.
Minnie pointed out to April that they both had on circles. April thought that was GREAT and kept bringing it up throughout dinner.

High-fives for Mickey
Every once in a while April would say, "I need to see Mickey." (or whoever). She would stand on her chair, "there he is!", and sit back down and eat.

Family Pictures

Family pictures with 21 people (7 of which were barely 5 and under) were a bit of challenge- mostly in getting all the kids to look the right way at the right time. But I loved that we got them done.

Family Reunion

We were able to take to kids to Florida for 3 weeks this summer to see Adam's family. For a week of our time there all of Adam's sisters and their families were there as well. It was the first time that we had all been together in over 3 1/2 years. With six more people having been added even since then it was a full house- 21 of us and 2 babies on the way!

This is a SLIM example of our pictures from the trip. Between all the cameras we ended up with over 3,000 pictures!

Katelyn playing with Uncle Mike and Aunt Robin.
Dallin and Katelyn
Weston and John. I was hoping that they would get along since they are only two months apart. They did. John was so excited when Weston talked to him on his birthday. I hope they stay friends.
Grandpa and Katelyn
Grandma and Grandpa with 4 of their 9 grand babies that were there.
Grandma Pat and Katelyn bonded over food.
Matching outfits. So fun!
Virgin margarita and an IBC root beer.... Someone suggested we send this picture to our bishop.
Taige, Quinn and John
April and John loved "getting" Taige- and he was EXCELLENT with them.
The youngests playing at the beach.

April's 3!

These are April's 3 year-old pictures.
