Christmas

Jason got his mission call to Louisville, KT and so this will be our last Christmas with all the Peterson's for a little while. So all 13 of us got together and had a great time. Santa spoiled us again as usual. It was so fun this year with John and April really into it. Any time we would walk into a store, John would notice it all decorated up and say excitedly, "It's getting to be Christmas!" It was also Katelyn's first Christmas. I feel we have had so much to be thankful for this year and I'm looking forward to another year with Adam and our babies.

Adventures with Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma Pat and Grandpa (the Turkey One- as John refered to him) stayed for a week after Katelyn's blessing. We had a fun time being together and making memories.

Katelyn's Blessing

Katelyn was blessed December 5th. It was a beautiful blessing and it was nice to have so many people there that love her and support her.

Thanksgiving Adventures

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Peterson's for Thanksgiving. As always, it was a busy trip. Of course there is actual Thanksgiving and the parade to watch, along with all the cooking.

And on Friday we went to Knott's Merry Farm for the Christmas Craft Festival. (I love this picture of Dad and April.)

And then on Saturday we went and saw A Christmas Carol at the Glendale Center Theater. It was a fun, tradition filled weekend.

A Couple of Fun Things

Two fun stories from yesterday:

John woke up with his hair everywhere and it wouldn't be fixed. In the car he must have seen his shadow because he says, "Mommy, my hair is big!"

We were walking around Target. April looks at me and says, "You're beautiful, Mommy." Made my day!

Just Some Pictures

Katelyn started smiling on her 1 month birthday. SO much fun! At first she was smiling at everyone but Adam but she's finally doing that. She also has gone from having so much hair to being almost completely bald on top- but the back and sides are still really thick. She's still cute though. :-)

This may be why she's losing all that hair on top- the kids love to rub her head. (I don't really think it is, but it's kind of funny.)
